Fruit Bars
Ingredients List
- 1/2 cup - butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup - firmly packed Domino® Light Brown Sugar
- 2 - egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 1 cup - mixed dried fruits, chopped
- 1 cup - salted peanuts
- 2 cups - crisp rice cereal
Instructions
Lightly grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
Melt butter in 10-inch skillet. Remove from heat. Add brown sugar and egg yolks. Return to heat; cook and stir over low heat until mixture thickens slightly and simmers. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
Cool slightly. Firmly press mixture into prepared pan. Cool; cut into bars.
Makes 16 bars.
