Cajun Shrimp Dip
(very spicy, adjust to taste)
Ingredients List
- 1 - (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 ½ cup - finely chopped cooked peeled shrimp
- Juice and grated zest of 1 lemon, to taste
- 3 - green onions, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp. - fresh parsley, finely chopped
- Salt, to taste
- 2 to 3 dashes - Tabasco sauce, or to taste (optional)
- Assorted crackers, for serving
Instructions
Using an electric mixer beat the cream cheese with chopped shrimp, lemon juice and zest until well blended. Fold in the green onions and parsley. Season, to taste with salt and Tabasco sauce. Cover and chill dip at least one hour to enhance the flavor before serving.
Serve with assorted crackers. Recipe yields about 2 ½ cups
